While I own an Eezi Awn, I personally like the heavy duty canvas Eezi Awn and Howling Moon use over the lighter weight materials used by ARB, Tepui, CVT, etc.

The later three all make good tents, so it depends on your budget I guess.

Eezi-awn and Howling Moon are both great tents. If you haven't looked at them yet, you might want to take a look at one of the Tepui Ruggedized models. They are quite a step up from the standard models with a lot of upgrades to construction and materials.

Yes. Howling Moon and EziAwn tents are amazing and built tough. Last year I tried my best to buy a Howling Moon while in Joburg and then airship it with me home (via British Airways). But, the tent and shipping came to about what the new vendors in the US are selling them for so their margins are pretty thin (I am saying they aren't gouging you).

That being said, we've used our CVT tent we bought instead quite a bit and it is a well made tent and was a fraction of the cost. Our long term goal is to ship this truck to Africa and we'll replace the CVT with a Howling Moon then...

I am happy with mine. Only had it a year though. I have a thread buried in this section about mine. I realize this doesnt help you but I bought it new and feel it is worth every penny.
