Still won't let me post photos, even in this message. Says I've exceeded my quota.

How many pics have you posted?

more than likely your resolution is wayyy to high. go on-line and for free, and re-size the images. You shouldn't even be close to exceeding your quota unless 1, it's a new thing, and 2 unless your images use way too many MBs. Or, its a post count thing, and you need to post some more.

Actually, I think it's because his post count isn't high enough. Newbies are really limited.

WHoo-hoo it let me post a few more pics.
Maybe the trick is to wait a year and a half! :o
I have done a lot of thinking about the diesel-- but no action. The 2L-T would be so damn easy, even found a donor rig with one close by, but I'd rather keep the good ol reliable 22r for now, gutless as it is. The 1kz-te is tempting...but it won't just bolt in like an L series will it?
What I have done so far is gutted the interior for a total remodel. Had a boat repair shop cut off the old roof and build a new, super strong (you can walk on it!) roof with an extra 10" height and glassed it into place. Pics to come as the project continues...hope to have it done by summer.
Maybe I should move this to exped?

I saw you posted it in the Exped Vehicle thread, cool!

By all means, do a dedicated thread for the rest of the work you're doing, or just continue along in this thread. The trick IMHO is to get a lot of pics as you go step by step, and just use a freebie flickr or picassa web album to have high resolution image links available.

This way you can showcase in fine detail and writing all you've gone through as well as having the ideas and steps available for others going through the same process.

Also, if unaware of this resource, hit it like a schoolbook, there is a ton of ideas and reference info there also: Toyota Motorhome and Toyota Motorhomes for sale

Heck for that matter, get the thing going and opt in for a ROTM spot, I would love to see a 4wd ToyCamper featured member! :steer:
