Since I'm here, after 6 years of cold Montana winters the Skar is still kickin'.
Thank you!! That diagram helps a ton, going to stick with the sub I have seeing as it can be wired for 2, 4 and 8ohms.
I tried to use my multimeter to test the factory sub but it’s a cheap unit and I don’t believe it reads that low on its ohm setting.
I will probably try wiring it at 4ohms but really want to figure out what ohms the JBL sub is.
Good to know your Skar is still ticking away!
Anybody have experience trying BOTH of these subs?

"Grom Audio" the people that make carplay integration adapters for the 100 series infotainment system have a recommendation for a factory sub replacement for 100's:
The Wavecor SW168WA01 6.5" subwoofer (which you can buy online from PartsExpress).
You can also buy a 3d printed adapter ring directly from Grom via email and it ships from Texas. Here's a link to their install video on YouTube.
The Wavecor is nice because it fits well and has a pretty high sensitivity of 88.5db (2.83V/1M) meaning it runs efficiently so you get more dB per W of power. I just installed this and it sounds better than the Memphis 6.5" driver I had previously. It's deeper and much tighter/clean sounding and still powerful enough to vibrate the seats a little.
If anyone needs more power there's also a Wavecor 7" sub that will fit without modification and can handle 250W/1100W though it has lower sensitivity.
I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a factory sub upgrade.
