@zipdoa I am a noob in terms of lighting, sorry for all the question but can you explain the wiring a bit more? I can't make out exactly what you have going on in your photos.Just to recap - I took slightly different steps than OP:
1. Heat gun instead of oven
2. Reverse mounted the projector (vs orientation in steps above)
3. Used factory headlight cap, drilled 12mm hole for morimoto harness
4. Amazon'd 9005->9006 Y-splitter to get dual high beams/bi-xenon
5. Amazon'd 9006->bare leads harness and spliced in factory plug (the 'turn signal' style connector that mates to body harness) for low beam
6. I made a test bench using a Noco Genius 10 charger to test headlight alignment before installation

As you can see I'm in the middle of installing an ARB bumper. I'll post output shots after I polish the lenses. Hardest part of this job is dealing with the butyl. I found it to be a nightmare!
Any creative spots to mount the MLED ballasts?
4. Amazon'd 9005->9006 Y-splitter to get dual high beams/bi-xenon
5. Amazon'd 9006->bare leads harness and spliced in factory plug (the 'turn signal' style connector that mates to body harness) for low beam
re: #4. What plugs into the female end of your Y splitter?
re: #4. Where does the male end of your Y splitter connect to?
re: #5. You are splicing this in before the connector correct?
Does the way you have this wired up still allow for DRL to function properly + bi-xenon?
Did you have to use any diodes?
Thanks!
