Best deal in the universe, less than $50

Is that including tax?

UMMMMM, a little too much Accountant abreviation for you? :D hehehe $46.6K There, that's better

93 with lockers, fair condition, 100k miles, also was located in Ford/Chevy country- $6500

96 w/o lockers, 110k miles, excellent conditon mechanically, body, exterior, located in the city-$15k

location has a lot to do with it...

bought my 1996 locked stocker for $10,900 on March 12 2005 in Austin TX with 118,000 miles on it. Immediate repairs include: ditching the rubber duckie antenna for a stock power one, solving the drivetrain howl that occurs from 45-70mph, and repairing the rear diff-lock that was disassembled and not reassembled.

IMO, fair deal for both parties. Truck is in very good condition. My only complaint is the tires are too new and I really want to get bigger ones, but can't yet justify the expense until these wear down....lol

Ordered rubber floor mats and leather stuff immediately, and the FSM, new antenna, and CDL thru cruiserdan as well. May be tearing into the rear locker this weekend, depending if the FSM arrives in time....

Here's how I handled that little problem. Post that you want to sell a set of 5 alloys with good tyres. A forum member who shall remain nameless will (hopefully) contact you and negotiate a price. Once the negotiations are complete, nameless will say he doesn't need the tyres, the price is OK, but get shipping prices to Alaska for just the wheels. So you work out a deal with a local shop to swap dismounting labour for the used tyres, plus 5 shipping boxes for the wheels, pack everything up, get the shipping quotes from Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS at the buyers request, and ..... you guessed it .... nameless says the shipping charges are too high.... like it's your fault he lives in Alaska.

Now you're all set with 5 shiny alloys sitting in boxes on the garage floor and no tyres. I think I'll get 'em powdercoated pink and sell them to T Y L E R. :D

Beo, that trick sounds good, except it's been used twice already....33" Swamper Radials magically got sold, had a trip planned, "had" to order new 38.5 SX's....same last fall, 38.5 SX's/Allieds sold, had TX planned, "had" to order 39.5 IROKS and new Allied beadlocks....and yes, I have another set of 39.5 PitBulls coming, and will need another $1000 in beadlock rims to mount those....

C is already not pleased at my list of 80-mods, tho I did let her talk me out of the snorkle (for now)

Got My 95 With Service Records From Day One W/ 72k On It. Locked And Loaded. Needed Compound And Wax And A Interior Detail. I Replaced A The Front Bumber Because It Had Slight Dents On It And Repained The Rear Bumber. Paid 12,500 For It And I Think He Let It Go Too Cheap.

I purchased it from a guy in CT 02/05/05.

Welp DougJohn, here it is.

I want to start off first, by thanking all the little people. You guys have been great. I started off on this site as wee Rookie, 400 plus hours later, I'm poppin the Lifer cherry. Yeh, it's been a long, hard road... but to date, I think I've fixed more things on my rig, than I've broke. And I owe it all to you guys. I only hope that one day I can give a little back ;).

Lastly, we can all thank DougJohn. If if wasn't for him, I would have never known about this site.

As always...

Then there is the option of asking Stuckey how much an alloy wheel weighs, add 3 to 4 lbs for packaging, go to www.ups.com and www.usps.gov and get a shipping quote and email the info before even lifting a tire and saving you all the work. :D Sorry, could not resist. Comes from numerous emails "Do you ship to Germany/France/Spain/etc/etc. Want bumper. How much shipping?"

If we followed your methods we would have a bunch of pallets packed and ready to go with no buyers

I thought he was a buyer since we spent several days negotiating the price of the wheels  ..... but your method will be what I do from now on. Once burned and all that.
