I paid $29k for mine. It had 51k miles on it. Was it a good deal?
I paid $19k for the wife's -- hers had more miles (67k) -- that probably afffected price. Was that a bargain?

Doug - I haven't actually looked at the records yet, but he "says" only normal maintenance types of things, following the manual/dealer rec'd., nothing major.

Christo - Well I was planning on no loan, but that leaves little money for the fun stuff. I hope I can do the work and definately willing. I've only done minor work like brakes, heads, cams, timing belts on Chevy 350's and older imports vehicles. I say hope since I've never even looked at what kind of maintenance is involved on a Cruiser.

IMO, these cruisers are quite wrencher friendly. With basic experience, this site, FSM, and a will to want to do your own work, you'll be golden. In fact, most people here are pretty heavy into preventative maitainance (or just that anal) that we try and replace stuff before it fails.

I bought a similar 1994 (no airbags) for $10,500. No service records. I thought it was a decent price.

Would've been nice if you posted that info when you first stated what you paid :flipoff2:

...uh...and no, I don't think you get it...

Ok - time for me to play. I paid $46.6 in '94 with 10 miles on her.

Brent,
You don't get it. You're supposed to tell us the amount and the truck model year and let us guess on when you bought it. :D

hehehe

I think the mileage on her was pretty good when I picked her up from her original owner/builder, don't you? :D

Back then MSRP baby, take it or leave it. 11 years later, I'm still glad I took it.

Here's mine, just in case you all need another point of reference, '97', LX 450, $17,900, no lockers.

Purchase date... 3 months before my join date :flipoff2:

Nope :flipoff2: :D

The first one I bought on Jan 20.
The second one on Decmeber 31.

If you're in the bay area, then buy it! Seems like a reasonable price (been monitoring PP prices on LCs)

Bought mine in May 2001 with 35Kmiles on it - paid $31K with CPO program.

Edited: There's a green one from Fremont on craigslist that matches your description. If this is the one, be carefull as I've seen the ads for a while.
