Just wondering how many piggies are in the salt lake area? I live up in heber city and was thinking it might be cool to do a pig together and burn some burgers and hang out and talk pig and also have a small sorta obstacle course to test suspension and clearance. Any interest?

Dude, if you're having a pig gathering you need to grill fresh ground pork burgers- not cow.

Anyway...

+1

PS, mine is not (nor ever will be) "built"- so obstacles out for me.

Do it when the "Relic Run" is supposed to be and I'll try to be there with my piggy. I hope to be there with the piggy for Cruise Moab but I won't have much time then.

I was thinking late may so far. I will be trying to make it to the relic run myself. Especially since kamas is only about 15 minutes from mi casa. I would like to meet you cruiser_guy. I have spent some time in Guatemala and Mexico also. I lived in San cristobal for a year.
Anyways I think it would be way cool to get a herd of 55's together.

1 in Moab.

We have decided to just invite anybody that is a cruiserhead. Not very many 55's. So if you have a cruiser or a toyota 4x4 of some kind you should come hang out with other cruiserheads. Keep an eye on this thread for coming details.

What cruiserfest in June? Does that answer your question:p? I'm thinking second weekend in may. Not a huge planned out thing. Just a bunch of cruiserheads talking landcruisers eating burgers and drinking ......gasp! Beer! Oh no!
There will be a grill a small obstacle course a rti ramp and a bonfire. If that sounds good let me know?

Are you going to Cruiserfest Ige?

That's like 10 minutes from my house.

Add one more in Moab! It is going to stay at my family's house while I get settled in Denver.

Ryan.

I think I saw you drive in last Friday.

We should get together sometime, talk pigs and Northern Virginia. I grew up in Virginia.

Cool!!

I am just getting ready to head back to Denver. I am leaving the 55 here at my parent's place for a while. I wanted to come back for the Cruiser get together at the end of April but it is full, and they have a big wait list.

Here is a pic going up 7 Mile rim road from today!

If you're talking about cruise Moab- I encourage you to go anyway. LOTS of folks go and just do their own thing. It's completely OK, in fact- it's what I'll be doing. I can't afford to take too many days off, so I'm driving down on Friday, leaving Sunday morning.

Is this gathering tied in with the cruiserfest that's happening in june?

Ige, I'm going to say no.
Cruiser Fest is hopefully going to be a HUGE event.
The Relic Run which I attended last year(my old Orange FJ55 in some of the pic's(now owned my Sami)) is a small group with a limited number.
The pig run/GTG that uglyoinker has suggested is up to him.

This is not a huge sponsored event. this is just a gearhead get together hang out. that cruiserfest looks good I will be going to that also hopefully. It will feel a little weird to go to miller without my motorcycle. I have been several times ride the track. But it looks like great time.
