So I pulled my running boards and flares a couple weeks ago. I was looking at the cruiser today and noticed my catalytic converters hang a couple inches below the frame. I know the PO had the exhaust replaced. Can you tell me if this is stock or not?

Yep, that how my LX and LC look. bummer, eh?

That's what they look stock yes. I'm in the middle of swapping out to Flowmaster cats and will take a pic so you can see the difference.

You can also cut and turn them 90. Tucks them up a little higher.

that is stock - mine are ths same way

Same here as well.

the PO of my 97 removed 1 cat and turned the other cat 90 degrees... its passed California smog twice with no issues.

my only issue now is my passenger floorboard heats up way too much when exploring a slow speed. i need to figure out to keep the heat out. yes my heat shield is intact plus i added an aftermarket heat shield in between bottom of cab and factory heat shield. helped a little but still not cool enough

Do your cats hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Can you sling 'em o'er shoulder like a Continental Soldier?
Do your CAAATS hang LOWWWWW?
