How long before price drops below MSRP?

I live in Minneapolis (proper), so most of my driving is 10-20 minutes at a clip. Even a 6 footer could wedge themselves into the back of an FJ for a short while.

But honestly, for the next several years, I'll be filling the back seat with carseats for the kids anyway.....

yeah, i have a car seat in mine for the 2 year old who loves the fj but i have an 05 suburban for haulin the family around. im 6'5 and i hope i never have to ride back there for along period of time.

You all really think a 2007 model will only drop 2k in a full year?

This is just like the miata craze in 1989-90.

Lots of hype, (it is a very cool rig) and dealers like to take advantage of it.

Waiting is definately the way to go.

Reasons are clear
1. Demand will drop or supply will rise
2. Any kinks will be worked out after first run
3. More color options
4. Save big $$ from current over MSRP pricing.

Invoice on these is around 5-6k less than MSRP (back end included)

Also I could even go out and buy a used 07 or 08 in 2010 for half...

Patience is a virtue...

No one who has ever bought a computer should be surprised when the FJC prices drop below MSRP.

IMHO: With healthy production, a vehicle like this (appealing to Cruiser Heads and Honda Element/Scion buyers) will soon exhaust the "gotta have it now crowd"....

Although before I say this, I should check Element / Scion pricing to see if they are still selling above MSRP.. (but I won't...)

Met this guy who happens to work for the Houston Texan team at 4wheel parts store this afternoon and I ask him if he paid MSRP for the FJ? He said he paid several hundred bucks below. Looks like prices has started coming down a little bit
