How do remove this weird hub?

I have this mystery hub on my driver's side. I can't find a brand name on it. I used the photo from Trollhole's DD writeup, since the hub on his 75 looks the same as mine.
The bolts came out just fine, but I can't get the hub to pull off. I think I need to take the center knob-dial thing off, but how? Anyone taken one of these off before?

its a factory aisin 74/75 hub. the entire out thin sheetmetal shell comes off(the knob is attached permanently to the shell). dont try to pry on the knob, you'll just ruin the hub.

gently put a screwdriver (flatblade) between the gap of the wheel hub and the very outer sheetmetal shell and pry round the circumfrence and it will come off.

if youre going disc, save it for me. I have one good one, and one with a ruined shell...

I used a rubber mallet to get mine off. Came off pretty easily once I realized how it worked.
