Its so nice to see people helping people...

If this display of camaraderie doesn't bring a tear to your eye, then you don't believe in the power of friendship

I have a large pile of raffle items
I think I can get a coupla things from the parts stores even, so we will have at least some new prizes

So, Mrs. X, what's this wash a sleeping bag chore you mention? If you mean fold it up & put it in the garage till next time I go camping, then I wash mine after every event

In the spirit of the El Conquistador Hoedown raffle, my wife came up with some delightful items that have absolutely no relation to anything automotive.
We shant be short on raffle items.

If you can eat it and it gives you gas...autos use gas, should be close enough of a link.

It don't have to be automotive related

Hell it don't have to be anything people would even want
A prize is a prize....

My friend isn't coming to the event after all, so I will have an empty seat both days

I was looking in the clearance isle of walmart yesterday and almost bought a little girls bike helmet for the raffle. There was also one of those weird ass nature shirts with a bunch of big cats on it....i think it was purple.

I just ordered:
15 Brats
24 Burgers
24 Pork Burgers

Any thoughts as to this being enough main course grub for Sat. night?
I figured 30-35 mouths to feed.

Someone else needs to bring:

Buns
Fixings
Sides
Plates etc.

Last edited:
we will bring ketchup, mustard & pickle relish.

Should we do it like last year? Everyone bring something?

I would be more than happy to bring something along.
