My hood appears to have seperated from the frame it sits on. I assume the two were glued at some piont. Can i just squeeze some rtv along the gaps or is there better solution? Nothing coming up on a search.

Best to use auto body stuff like seam sealer or other adhesive, silicone/RTV can cause rust.

Thanks @mingles. A very interesting read and certainly appears to describe what I am seeing. I ended up ordering the 3M 08609 Super Fast Urethane which appears to be recommended for non-structural body panels.
