I feel like this thread is really important also but I can't remember why and it's so hard to read with blood in your eyes and what is this lump on my head?

Luckily my hood only eased down onto my head. I can take a hint. Ordered FR and RR from ebay Lou just now.

Gas shocks were part of the build of Bradley GT kit cars when I worked in their factory about 35 years ago. Interesting to see if they have changed at all.

Purchased my replacement set at Autozone back in Feb '09 for about $25 each. Easy to install (as I recall) and still hold fine. Sorry, I just went outside and looked but there is no brand name on the little blue sticker on them.

Just ordered the Lou's, set of 4 shipped with 'Facebook7' coupon code was $71.00, can't beat that!
The listed prices are even lower than whats above now.

I got 3 sets off Ebay (from Mr. Lou's) for like $35 a set two weeks ago. I noticed it was cheaper than his web store. One set for my truck, one for Cruiser Outfitter's new flagship, and one for another friend. Silly fast shipping.

I just put the Strong Arms on from Amazon...easy install and no more broom stick needed for hood...I think these are the Mr. Lou brand....

If you are in Oregon, let me know and I will hook you up with the guys from Warrior Products. They are looking for a test vehicle and have new lift struts in the works. The struts will actually lift the hood, who knows, mine suck so bad maybe they were supposed to do that in the first place.

PM me if you want the hookup.

Ordered from Lou yesterday, via eBay, hood only.

Thanks again for that, they rock. Nice not having to use a piece of sprinkler pipe when under the hood :D

^ Thats Weird! They had actual sample lift struts at SEMA and said they were wanting to make them for the 100.

They were under the impression that our 100s had a pop rod.... However, they are literally blocks away so we may be working together for other Toyota products.
