@NLXTACY - think you could make something like this for our 80 series? I'd rather buy from a MUD member who makes great gear!

Alien Gear Cloak Dock Holster Mount

No room with my leg there. However, there are some other creative options posted on the forum.

I just received @NLXTACY FEM. If one were not to mount a extinguisher to it, the black serpa holster without the belt clip attached can easily be bolted to it. Food for thought. I dunno.

A left handed Safariland 6004 or similar molded holster can be bolted where the useless "cup holder" on a US spec 80 series back behind the driver's right hip near the seat belt buckle. Super bonus: lefty holsters are often dirt cheap on clearance.

There's an idea. Would be easy to mount up one for my FN 5.7

My dad used to have a holster mount in his Blazer. I don't know where he bought it but it was in the shape of a T turned on it's side. The short projections had screw holes and the long portion was 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 inches wide and tapered at one end to accommodate any belt mounted holster. The whole thing was about 4" long and about 1/4" thick. You'd just screw this thing onto the console above the brake lever and then slide any left handed belt loop equipped holster on and off again. Genius product. Solid fit and it only cost a few bucks. He moved trucks and it became lost in the shuffle.

And in Texas too!

is is legal to drive with a pistol like that?
I don't see why not. As a LEO I haven't had any problems. It's partially concealed but then again as a LEO it is different for me.

Gum Creek Customs has a good selection but not a Mud member

This is nice but you can use my set up in any vehicle and keep and use the holsters you already have and when you reach your destination you could place your weapon back on your person. I prefer an IWB holster for this set up.

I pocket carry a PF9 so its works for my needs.

Thanks for your commitment and service as a LEO during these difficult times.

I usually put the pistol in the map pocket on the door or in the front of the seat covers ( they have a pistol pouch built in).

dang I only wish. Not here is Calistan

This in California!! Concerned that even Joey's awesome console lock box might not even be legal here! We certainly can't do anything presented on this thread.
