Navid, any pics of my 80 wheeling?......Good day indeed, HH can get a bit old, but when u got cruisers all around, it is fun to say the least. Those land rover guys were a sight to see.. Land rover guys are cool though, it's the hummer h2 guys that scare me, like mentioned earlier...

That was an awesome day of wheeling! Thanks guys, that was a great time. I'll put up some pics when I get them from my bud.

I really did want to have a royal rumble when we saw those LR's.

Sorry bro when you were on the trail I was holding Roberto Jr. and then we were all driving so no chance to take pics of your ride, although I must say the 315, and 4:88 made your truck eat up Hollister. Agreed HH can get old but in the mud it was very fun.

I guess I was trail riding opposite of everyone else. I saw the FJ40 from a distance up on the hill, but by the time we got down there, all the other Cruisers were gone. Sorry that I missed you guys. Wheeled some on Friday and saw three other rigs the whole day.

campfire too bad we missed you, I saw a white 100 but it wasn't built so it was not you. We should all get togather at Frank Raines soon. 831tocoma sorry I don't have any pics of your truck. I was talking to your friend in the 80 when you were doing your thing. Silverscout's friend was talking pics all day long I am sure he has pics of you and Roberts truck wheeling.

Well I now have to express to all the Toyota group that at Hollister this last weekend it was a very special momment for both myself and my son.

We just decided to go cruisin in our new/old FZJ-80 97 at Hollister and ran into "our addopted family" It was perfect. We were rounding a bend, my son saw a group of LC ahead on the trail. We jammed and caught up on a flat area. From the first the windows thay came down came the LC brotherhood . "what's you name?" "where di you ge the LC?.

do you want to run with us? Oh ya.!

What a great group, and as we were leaving my son said " I have never felt so where I'm supose to be as I am right now!"

This was what we needed, This is what cruisin togather means.

Yahoo for the guys. My son is jacked. Ok me too

fataitaa - Congratulations on your first post, now time for official intro on 80 series with pictures and story. Where do you live?

By the time I got home, all the mud were gone thanks to pretty good rain. I love rain!!!

Glad you had fun fataitaa, its really cool to be able to wheel with other Cruiserheads:) part of it is just getting to know/meet cool people and checking out other peoples rigs. If you are interested join the TLCA, www.tlca.org, most of us belong to this organization. Not only do you get their really kick ass magazine, Toyota Trails, you also get to go on different runs and meet fellow enthusiast. I'll PM you next time a local run comes up.

Happy Trails, thanks for the complement about the 40, you should join us next time.

That is an awesome 1st post! You are lucky, there are a bunch of great Cruiserheads up in the norcal area. Navid knows them all but PM alvarorb, cruiserdrew and i4c4lo... there's a bunch of great norcal guys on this forum. You and your son can go on many more trips!

Looked and sounded like a great time. Hopefully the folks that ran this will post up some more pics:) . Hey SS: How's married life?

Spressomon, our one day at Hollister was good. The mud is still clinging to the LX! What really helped was the recent rain and the the fact that it hadnt been raining for weeks on end. It rained just enough to make it fun but not impossible.

Married life is good. Were having a hell of a time mapping out our future. Kate actually recomended we trade the LX in for a Hybrid this morning! Oh I put a stop to that.

As soon as my buddy gets me the 150 pictures he took on to a CD I'll post them up. I might need to buy a star though!

Dude,

That's a bad sign. Try to work it out.

That is a VERY BAD sign...I'm sure all your buds, this one included, would be happy to rally to your aid...we could show up right as she is getting ready to leave for work with all roads blocked by Landcruisers...heh...heh...heh.

Thankfully she was kidding, but it would be a bad sign. I think she has an understanding and we do see eye to eye. After all, our wedding day "get-a-way vehicle" wasn't a limo but my old International. I need to post a pic of that too some time.

She does want a hybrid to replace her 95 Honda when it dies. Though, I'm not totally sold on them new fandangled machines yet.

My Volvo comes to lease end in May...and actually considering a Prius to help balance out the LC gas/emission thing. Have not driven one yet although I know a few people that have and/or own them and everyone speaks very highly of the new Prius.

I think After Kates Honda goes we should help the environment by not buying a "new" car but an old one instead. Say a 1965 Mustang. The 40 year old car is already on the road, we may as well buy that one!
