Splitshot -

I couldn't keep up with you. I was just dragging behind....

ALVIN: Where did you get the flat tire? Was it about 2/3 of the way up from the Step toward the top (cattle guard/The Gap)?

Pinched a sidewall coming out of the creek where the sign is.

I plugged it yesterday and it's holding pressure, albeit it's only on the spare rack. It took 4 plugs to do it. I'll get a new one ordered soon.
I'm thinking of breaking it down and patching it, just to practice with my tyrepliers. That way if I ever need them in the field I won't be fumbling around to bad.

Suprised you didn't hear my behind dragging:D Looks like I'm going to have to give Tim a call also, My tub shifted because of worn out body bushings and trashed the inner sidewall of a rear tire. Oh well, it's just money right?

If you can't rag on Alvin you loose out on a good chunk of fun. I heard that he got another sidewall flat. Did he get clocked in the jaw with a Hi-Lift again?

Hannah has been itching to call him out on the CB.

He mysteriously got a flat after I drove his truck about 40 feet down the trail. For some reason he wouldn't take his eyes off me while he jacked the truck up. He swears I suckerpunched him last year. :D

Thanks Steve, Hopefully that mudflap was the only mishap your taco incountered.

Have you noted that this thread has about ~2300 view's? That's pretty good for a local group's trail ride.

It must be all the great photography...

Well, that and as Kevin once stated, we are a "gabby bunch":p.

17 Rigs is pretty good turn out for a local group trail ride too...

I think it means we are a bunch of web-wheelers, but having 17 rigs show up for a club run in Tucson says otherwise.

I'll say...

Did everyone check their diffs? My front was 3/4 full with spooge, guess it's time to replace birf seals.

We're number 1! @ least on threads - Upstate Cruisers has us beat on posts...

Of course we do have some of the best and most opportunities in the country here in AZ - between the weather and open spaces...

Are your diff breathers extended, if not that would be my first guess on the problem.

Nope, should do that. Any ideas? I'm thinking of 3/8 fuel line, but what about the ends? Any time I leave hoses laying around they get plugged up with adobe haciendas, darn wasps.

You can get a couple of really small filters...K&N even makes one that can them be mounted up high.

I stuffed mine with a couple of cheap fuel filters. Buck fitty at the local vauto-zone.

Thats better, I just looked this one up @ 25 bones. 2"o.d. 3/8 fitting.
But it looks cool:D

Some hose all of the boxes together and use one filter. I don't agree with this, if one box gets contaminated and foams the fluid, it will contaminate all of the other boxes. I simply run a hose (IIRC 1/4") and filter for each box. These filters work great and are ~$2 ea at BAP.
