That's some electrician stuff going on there.

As a former electrician I literally used stripped 12g solid core copper wire I bent with pliers
(I wasn't doing a full seat, just had to do a half dozen or so and used what I had ‍♂)

I've done hog rings and zipties. zipties on my old tacoma... 16 years still no issue and they were the cheapest i could find... There are some places hog rings are easier and others zipties.

this is the time to add heaters or change the padding to your liking...
