I think the automatic hj60 radiator options from eBay AU are off the list. They're about $480 AUD and another $450 AUD to ship to California. I'm gonna try to look into some other options. Suggestions are still welcome.
I used the weight and dimensions from one dealer and the price was about $150 from memory with australia post.

I know they do overseas orders and I know others have had their radiators delivered cheaply within 5-10 days
Why not just install a fj62 rad and deal with the simple and inexpensive rad hose modification? You can get it in North America.

I did that about 3 years ago and it’s leaking again. Was hoping to get a new one to not deal with that but it might be my only option. What sucks is that place is the only radiator shop around.I didn't read (reread) all of this post, it may have been suggested... About ten years ago, I chose to have mine rebuilt by a local shop.
