more. When it came down to scuffing off the bib, I noticed that it needed the seam sealer. Without it, I bet the bottom of the bib would rot off in less than 10 years.

I spent about 9 hours today fine-tuning the cab (going over and over the same areas), the bib (which needed very little attention), and the other fender. I have been using the sponge-backed sanding pads, graded 'Fine,' for the most part.

the 4th set of knuckle arms arrived today via Fedex. The new set pictured below the previous type for comparison in pic one below. They bent them down further out along the arm and towards the end than I was anticipating, but they improve the clearance a fair bit when I put them on to take a look. I think I'll run with these for the time being.

it's not over yet.

The black mesh screen is curiously termed 'ornament' in an EPC diagram i have seen.

[EDIT] in the first and third picture you can see that there is s hole at the side of the bib opening - it's for a rectangular little rubber cushion. I have located a couple of these and have them on order. The rubber bits there, along with the two rubber bumpers on the bottom edge of the 'ornament' help control rattles and parts rubbing against one another.
