Cruiser content first. Haven't seen one yet. :frown: Rover dealer here close to the office that's got a nicely equipped Defender 90 out front with snorkel, decals and all. That's been it so far.

Diligently looking tho! :D

Hey Brent. Have some Chilean Pisco (Origins of Pisco have started wars :D)

Are you referring to the Pisco Sour drink? I've been told that I HAVE to have one while I'm down here. It's been described as a Chilean version of a margaurita.

Is that what you're referring too?

On the schedule for tonight before heading out to an Argentian Steak House for dinner. Hotel we're at 'has the best Pisco Sour's in town' so to speak.

:D

pisco sour is great, try it... is stronger and with some sugar...carefull...

you need to try

Empanadas de Pino al horno, oven cooked empanadas...

sopaipillas, like a home made bread...

Humitas, like Chiliean tamales...

and sea food, wherever you like it....

Thanks Roberto!! Swordfish last night was wonderful!

Chillean empanadas are the best on earth. You can get reall big ones fresh from the deli in the supermarket.

co-worker is not a wife, you can screw it, and no worries... he'll be fine by himself...

HAHA!! That's what I did to my co-worker when I was in Krakow Poland a couple years back... not wheelin.. but partying with the locals while he went back to his room.... :D

Coworker is an older lady...not my boss and not my wife! :D Wife would love to be down here too...perhaps on a future trip we'll be able to combine work for me and a little vacation afterward for the two of us.

Tempting, very tempting, but I'm with a coworker that I don't think would enjoy it.

Are you local here in Santiago?

My wife is chilean, I am from Venezuela originally. I moved from the states to Santiago in '03.

Let me know if you change your mind about wheeling.

I had a pisco sour when I was in Peru a few years ago. I was also in the town of Pisco in Peru, but Chile and Peru can't agree where it was invented.

You are right, they can't decide. From a Peruano - it's from Peru ;)

Pisco Sour before dinner and a nice Carmenere with an Argentenian filet at Don Carlos for dinner.

Nice! The egg in the drink makes it!
