It's the romantic in him. Maybe he will get to this chapter in 2032

Yep, I am a hopeless romantic. As a matter of fact some story worthy stuff did happen today. And I made it here in one piece so all is good.

What's the status on things after the logger and county debris crew came through?

JT and Lash, our logger/policeman friend has done some work since we were there, including taking out the big oak in front of the house and a couple of smaller ones on the left side. Gary says it appears that he's cherry picking the easy stuff first. The county hasn't done anything yet. The piles of debris we built are still by the driveway where we left them. Gary spoke with the county supervisor again and they promised to send a cleanup crew next week.

Lee emailed me this morning about no water in the camper. I was like, WHAT??
Turns out the whole town of Sandersville was without water, maybe the squirrel went on vacation that ran the wheel that powered the pump.
However, Lee let me know it was back on this afternoon.
I have not been any help this trip. I am having some outpatient surgery so I will be out of commission for the rest of the week.
I did buy Lee lunch today at the local Mexican restaurant. Does that count?

Sawdust, washed down with Timber Beast IPA. Seems fitting. Lash and JT may recognize this stump, from before it was a stump.

Nice work.
Better reward...

How in the hell can you drink a IPA in this heat?
You must be a beeraholic.

After a week of cutting down trees, Timber Beast seemed appropriate. I only had one, drank it in the shade. Two and I'd have passed out in the yard, or what's left of the yard :(

Hope to make it to the Cherokee next visit. Today, I'm back on the road again. :steer:

Oh yeah, Go Rebels, and Gig 'Em Aggies. :hillbilly::beer:

SHUSH reads the story because lee makes words fit together in apleasing way over flowing paragraphs that are about life , adventure and 40 series.

I much prefer it to snyde comments and pictures of food.;)

Looks to be 91* and sunny all weekend.

You won't get much support this close to the Crawl. We are getting ready for the event. Sorry.

Roger that. We didn't have much choice on the date. Gary has other commitments and I have federal jury duty after this weekend, so we'll have to suck it up and do what we can on Saturday. Lash and JT did the work of several men the first time we hooked up, so CottonLand has been well represented.
