Sorry for the thread hijack. But, I've got the same problem as the OP except I'm working on my 91 with the 3FE. CEL has been on as long as I've had it for the number 2 O2 sensor. Upon inspection, it looks as though the plastic connector was busted off at some point. And the wires were just hanging there. Can't seem to find anything that can tell me what truck side wires connect to which on the sensor side.
OK so you are needing to know what wires from the truck harness go to the O2 sensor then? I can tell you what mine looks like I can't guarantee that will be the same as yours. I think it also depends on what kind of O2 sensor you have as well.. As I think some of the aftermarket ones have different color coded wires..
You are correct. I think most universal 4-wire sensors have two black wires, a white and a blue wire, which is what I have. You running a 3FE as well? I'm not sure if the harness color-codes are different between the 91-92 and 93-97.
Ughh I am afraid I may be crossing the same bridge soon as well.. Good luck! Also, looks like the sensor itself is bad. I'm not even getting a resistance between the two heater wires. Now I've got to figure out how to replace the sensors with the whole flange being nothing but rusty messes...
