Hello Team!
I have been in the process of restoring my F240 for the last seven years and I’m almost hearing completion. Just finished installing headers from a great shop in my hometown Chico, California.
I finished rebuilding the two barrel carburetor and managed to misplaced the throttlebody screw that holds onto the bottom of the carburetor picture attached.
I reached out to Jim C twice and never got a response and I’m not sure if he’s even still living (unfortunately). I had them vapor blasted and they turned out great.
Does anybody happen to have the hollow screw that goes into the throttlebody? I would be happy to pay for it. It’s the only thing stopping my vehicle from running and I cannot wait to take it out!
Thank you!

There are four different lengths: 70-74 Federal(shortest), 74 Cali spec, 75-80(longest), and 81-87. Assuming from your pic that shows the 70-74 fuel cut solenoid gasket, you need a short one.

I recently had a customer send in a 74 carb for rebuilding that was missing this screw. Though I had never done it before, I tried running a die over an 81-87 screw to get the extra threads, then shortened the screw to the right length. It worked just fine. So that is another option.

The screw was from a Chicom carburetor I bought from @cruisermatt , so no Japanese parts were harmed in the experiment!😛
