You can get BFG KM3s in 7.50x16. Same size and DOT approved.

Just curious what size you are referring to. As far I know, there is nothing that is same as 225/95/16 in the USA.

I thought 225/95-16 is the metric equivalent of a 7.50-R16........but I could be wrong.

They are close. The 225s are a bit taller. The KM3 is shown by BFG to be 8.7" x 31.8". The Bridgestone is 8.9" x 32.6"

Well they are two different brands and two different treads. You can find that much variation across almost any tire size.

But that KM3 is probably as close as you can get to a 225 in the US.

They are all pretty close to each other. I guess it depends on the end user to decide which one suits them the best. I understand there is some slight variation by tire supplier.

235/85/16
9.25" wide
31.73" tall

225/95/16
8.8" wide
32.8" tall

7.50-16
8.4" wide
31.8" tall

The point of the original topic was to find narrow tires that are available in the US. The 7.50x16 KM3 fits that criteria better than the normal option of 235/85.

Got it and I agree.
