car was running fine befor the coil went

Missing under load could be either ignition or carburation, but missing under load with bucking and backfiring and spitting through the carb is lean mixture or fuel starvation. Check the usual culprits: junk in the tank, plugged filter, bad pump, stuck/clogged inlet valve.

points & condencer new, fuel is lpg i had a masive back fire that distroyed the muffler and blew out manfold gasket , just replaced that to but sounds like its blown that again and still missing under load
points 12 thow dwell 36 deg timing is set on the ball in the fly wheel idle 850 rpm

would need pics of your set-up...i wasnt aware you had a LPG set-up...sound like a vac leak...

you may want to post-up in the alternative fuels forum...here on mud also

do you have a commercially bought lpg set-up???

do you have a carb with a lpg ontop? or...just a lpg ontop of your manifold?

LPG is an important piece of info that you left out, so it can't be a simple fuel delivery problem. If it is backfiring out the exhaust, then it is not a lean condition. I have never seen a Toyota coil burn out. The kind of thing that might do that are excessive spark plug gaps or bad plg wires, both of which could make it miss under load.

I would also check crossed spark plug wires...do you have them in the correct order?
