My 96 VX80 JDM import has the button for headlight washer but I don't see any nozzles on the bumper.

Sounds like you got cheated..... I think it far worse to have nozzles and no button though so it could be worse.

X2 you don't have them.
They live below your signal lights and the nozzles point upwards.
Maybe removed when your headlights were swapped.
Mind you the washers will work with L or Rhd headlights

The only problem with importing is not knowing the history. I don’t think these are swapped. Its a 96 VX limited. Not a big deal in the long run. Car wash will have to do.

What does the button look like?

There was a time that Toyota was big into putting on these washers. I had some on my 80's Supra and also have them on my FJ60. IMHO, they are s***e and when I rebuild my FJ60, I won't be putting those back on.

Yeah I remember the fad. They were on everything. Volvo even had little wipers.

My 60 had them, my Series I Discovery had them, and my A4 Avant had them as well. I thought they were a boon, especially living in an area that gets copious amounts of snow. Sure wish my HDJ-80 had them.

I used to have a ‘91 FJ80, all plugs for headlight washers where pre existing under hood & dash , nozzles, reservoir and tubing came from Canadia.
Plug and play! Unable to find any components for anything after ‘92. I have been trying to replicate same set up for my ‘97 LX, NO SUCH LUCK.

Really? I had a 93 and looked at retro fitting but gave up as it looked like a lot of work. I didn’t even bother with my 91. So all that stuff is in there? Just need washers and button? So there is a plug behind the dash? What does it look like? Next to the mirror adjust button I suppose?

I think they are useful. They are on my 200 series, I think they are standard for US market.

The USA 100 and 200 series both have washers. If iI recall, my old 1987 Fj60 had them as well. I've never seen a US spec 80 series with the headlight washers.

I have a set of headlights with the nozzles and the plumbing that goes between the lights behind the lower valance. I would sell them if this is something your wanting.
