Hey man, I’m local in Memphis. I did my TSX projector retrofit using the Morimoto ballast and kit from TheRetrofitSource this past summer and has been a definite improvement over stock. It has some flickering in the right light, and I have been a little lazy to figure things out. It was a big pain though and later found that another member makes brackets that you don’t have to cut...would have made things so much better and less time consuming. Whatever option you decide, I can probably help you out some.

Good luck!
Peter
I could use the help. I have an LX470 and want to upgrade but really don’t have the time for something complicated. I just want as much as I can get with a simple install

Best bet for the LX is an HID retrofit. If you don't want to be hands-on, @Luke111 is your guy.

If you're local-ish to SLC, you're welcome to swing by and have a look at the difference.

I upgraded my low beams to 9012 bulbs and the high beams to 9011 bulbs. Easy upgrade to get some better light. Probably not to the level of other upgrades but it was easy.

I second the 9012 upgrade. Cheap and definitely an improvement. No real risk in trying it out and seeing if it meets your needs. My wife mentioned how much better it was on the next drive at night.

i wouldn’t mind. How much time did it take you?

Maybe an hour or two? If you end up with Lou's headlights, it's not much more than plug and play. Doing the retrofit yourself might take a whole day.
