This is what Im still trying to understand, what do you mean be "early" and "late"? What years, specifically.

Yes I deleted that pic since it was misleading because the pillar wasnt angled, it was damaged.

Soft top doors were the same from some time in 1963 when the shape of the soft top doors change. The why to time is if the doors look like the ones your thinking of buying and the early style door that were close to the shape of a CJ5 Jeep. Because I never seen any soft top made after 9/73 can't be certain if the bows and doors have the angle. Have the seller put a straight edge on the outside at the back. All the bows and doors I have are straight. Bought some bows and another set of doors at a different time I do not know what years they were off of. Just know they are straight. Not sure if any of the aftermarket bows are being sold individually but believe some had an angle B pillar.

Really no set years. Mainly because Toyota offered hard doors with the FST in most markets. So much today could be aftermarket or from another market. US never had hard doors or ambulance doors on a FST. The ambulance doors the top is removable. Also the parts system continuely is deleting parts from the system with every upgrade. If you are thinking of running FST doors without a top I would suggest a complete B pillar bow and door header at the very least. Years ago when top and bows were still being imported from Pakistan I bought a bikini top that fit the windshield channel and door header. Ties everything tight together.

Not running the FST doors without a top, Im just putting together all the pieces for an FST and started to worry the doors I was looking at buying werent going to fit the FST bows i was looking at buying. Thank you

Years ago when I wanted door hinges that would allow me to pull my doors off I learned that I had to move the hinge axis so the top hinge wouldn’t scrape the windshield frame.

I’ve worked hard with the Quik Hinges to get them as close to the OEM look as possible while also embracing functionality.

My hinges work on any oem doors including the FST doors as well as MetalTech’s tube doors.

Thanks for the bump @pb4ugo
These might work.
