I have a Yukon Outfitters hammock. I picked it up for $25 on Woot.com. I had to purchase tree straps separately but so far I really like it. I received my 7/16x20 rings from McMaster. Shipping really killed the deal but they are super strong and large enough that feeding the tree strap in will be easy.

Greetings all! I'm REALLY interested in the bumper pole pockets. I just got a HZJ105, and have a front bumper ordered. I was going to avoid the rear bumper for a while... But now I may "need" it! Might be hard to convince the wife of a $700 hammock support though! Does this flex the bumpers at all? Seems like a fairly decent angular load?
How long of bars are people using for a good hang? My hammock calculator wants anchor points quite high up for a "proper" hang. I'm using a Hennessy cub and a Warbonette Blackbird.
I'm planning on a sleeping platform inside the LC, and adding hammocks would allow the whole family to sleep easily with the LC.
And for those with awnings, would this be enough to keep you dry? Or do you use a traditional hammock tarp in fowl weather?
