I do that sometimes - park next to another GX, which, around here, is always totally stock. I bet the drivers of those didn't even notice another (way cooler) GX parked next to them as they are invariably 147 years old and unaware that anyone would or could make their Lexus into an off road beast!Saw a stock mid gen 460 and couldn't resist some pictures. It is. Its usually just me and the highly built Jeeps. A bunch of yotas came with us on Yankee Hill and even with a locker couldn't keep up with the KDSS, especially with my minimal lift.GX looks totally in its element, love it
Would look great with pinstripes from a trail!Driving this for the week, AMA

Nice. I need to get a picture of my s***box stick shift civic with my GX.
Is that Honda a DelSol? (That's what they were called here in the U.S.)
Thankfully, this is no longer my crapcan commuter, but I still like this photo for scale.Nice. I need to get a picture of my s***box stick shift civic with my GX.
I sure was prior to 2023. That thing was a major letdown. My wife had a DC2 Integra when we met and I spent a lot of time driving it on mountain roads. I really wanted to recapture that feeling, but there's no going back.I'm a big fan of the Civic Si. Every generation of it.
When I was looking for a fun 'round-town slot car, I went with a '92 MR2 turbo. That was fun!Thankfully, this is no longer my crapcan commuter, but I still like this photo for scale.![]()
I bought it to replace my LS400 and I wanted the exact opposite car. The stick shift and sport suspension were just what I wanted, the dreadful lack of reliability and slapdash build quality were unexpected. I guess it really was the exact opposite of a Lexus in every conceivable way.
I bet. I test drove an '87 Mister Two when I was a teenager and it'll always be "the one that got away." It wouldn't have been a great car for a mountain kid to commute in, but it sure would've been fun. I ended up with my first of 6 Subarus instead. When I was looking for a fun 'round-town slot car, I went with a '92 MR2 turbo. That was fun!
