I am still too intimidated by the prospect of rock crawling, but I finally got off-road. Spent a weekend camping in the GX and exploring fire roads around NW Wisconsin, beautiful area.

“A/C in the buggy”? Side by sides have AC now?I leave the third week of August for the Yooper Side by Side Shoot at Negaunee. AKA the Skeeter shoot although all the SxS shoots in Mn. Wi. and UP are full of Skeeters.
Just got back yesterday from 4 days at the Great Northern SxS Classic in Northern Wi. 2 weeks ago was 3 days at the Woods and Meadows SxS shoot that took over for the Duluth Double Gun shoot. Won the 20 gauge all bore event there, who you calling old?! Payout was cash although I am chasing hardware, trophies and belt buckles but cash works.

AC in the buggy is nice to have especially for getting away from the skeeters, gnats and no see ums. Can carry a full squad including the back which is setup for additional shooters. Everyone calls "shotgun" to get to sit up front with me which when your shooting shotguns is kind of ironic

Clam screen tent is the best invention ever. They are common in Mn. as ice fishing shelters. They started in Minnesota for "hardwater" fishing, the summer version is outstanding as well. Don't leave home without it in the summer.

My Polaris Northstar Ranger and Floe Cargo Max trailer are also Minnesota products. Floe trailers started as sled (snowmobile) trailers and portable docks for lakes. And of course Polaris started with snowmobiles. Hmm a common theme seems to be snow and ice here LOL.
Weather has been decent so far, a few warm days others not so much, I'll take the cooler days

Couple of my friends have switched to Tacos after I had my second gen, theirs are turd gens. Of course I've moved on to the GX

A great time was had by all.
After the UP shoot time to change everything over to get ready for bird season and serious off roading. 2 months from today grouse season opens. Damn summer is going fast.
Hell my old Northstar had AC. And heat, pretty sure Polaris was the first they usually lead the way. Polaris NorthStar, Can-Am Defender, Kawasaki Ridge, John Deere, and Kubota all have models with AC as an option.“A/C in the buggy”? Side by sides have AC now?
New wheels look great.

I too am a '50's baby, albeit, the very end. But I remember almost anything you turned upside down had a, "Made in Japan" sticker on the bottom.Well you obviously aren't farting dust yet and that is a good thingI was born in the 50's and remember well when something broke the common response was it must be made in Japan. Then Dr. Deming took care of that after manufacturing in the US wanted nothing to do with him and his QA methodology, and here we are today. On Mud.
Is it so hot where you live that the asphalt is melting?Apparently my Mickey Thompsons yearn to be off pavement so badly that they have removed the pavement from the road beneath them. This is very annoying problem.

Totally off topic, but my Grandpa had a pair of binoculars stamped "Made in Occupied Japan" back in the day. As a professional statistician and Deming acolyte, it's amazing to track the history and progress of data-driven processes. Back to your regular programming...I too am a '50's baby, albeit, the very end. But I remember almost anything you turned upside down had a, "Made in Japan" sticker on the bottom.
But as you mentioned Dr. Deming, with him going to Japan in the mid 1940's and helping develop the Kaizen quality control method, that has all changed almost everything in Japan, and now Japan is pretty much the bench mark standard of quality.
