View attachment 3802471Excited about my new Nitto Terra Grappler G3. Buttery smooth on the way home from install.
285/70r17 standard load. Went from Toyo ATIII in LT load C and I’m glad to soften the daily commute a bit!
Nice. I picked up the same tires, will be installing later in January. Was super happy with my G2's, looking forward to how the G3's perform.

Added these to the aftermarket parts thread EBC Orangr stuff pads to replace the Green Stuff pads I was too agressive with. Totally my bad in selecting the wrong application. They have been great for Alex.

Wrapping up the year with a little family trip to Big Sur. They just reopened Nacimiento-Fergusun Rd for the first time in four years, so I had to be one of the first people on it.

I've got more pics of the truck to go through, and I'll get a couple posted. But here's a couple randoms that got uploaded first.

I made this for my buddy with a swapped Nissan S13 but thought it might apply to some of y'all. If it was about me, it would probably be a boxer engine.

Happy New Year, Mud.

Chrome keeps telling me not to trust it, so I haven't actually clicked through. Really nice build though with custom "Dirty Harry" lettering across the hood.

Here are a couple shots of the aforementioned picnic spot.

This was about 200 yards from the southern dead end of HWY 1. We drove as far as they'd let us, and then turned around and parked. The view here was amazing and we hung out for about an hour. After that, we backtracked a few miles to the foot of Nac-Ferg "The Nasty" and hiked up a ways from the mouth of the Mill Creek Canyon.

After hanging out in the redwoods we climbed over the pass. For all the hype, this road was shorter than I expected. We've got some crazy back roads in California, and I can see why this one has a reputation, but it left me wanting more. The views were amazing, but we were on the freeway an hour and a half later and part of me wished I'd just turned around and went back down the Pacific Coast Highway again.

It's safe, I looked at it and Google translated it from German.

I always miss California when people start posting their awesome shots... especially mid winter here in the Midwest...

My stomping grounds 2016-2021.

Windy Point, near Leggett. The opposite end of Hwy 1 from your pic!

One of my favorite roads of all time!! Used to bike it back when I lived in SLO. May need to get up there knowing it's open :-D

I took my FJ55 on Hwy 1 from Wa. State down to the Bay area when I got transferred from Bremerton to Alameda in 82 or 83. Came out on 17 in San Francisco during rush hour it was a shock to my system LOL. Went through the gears as fast as I could to merge in the slow lane and was bumper to bumper with the pedal floored when I opened my eyes again.

Used to go to Fort Hunter Liggett to hunt wild boar. They had signs that said "Do not molest unexploded ordnance" everywhere. Always wondered who the idiot was that prompted them to erect the signs. After getting transferred to the East Coast and the Tidewater area I used to go down to the Dare County Navy bombing range and they had the same signs.

I'm guessing you didn't try to pass the tank on the highway in case the tank pilot had any road rage after passing.

Whether you swe ob it or not, you've got some work coming up. How much are you losing? If it is negligible, wait until warmer weather. Mine had no indication of leakage prior to opening it up. Once sealed, the water pump began to weep. I'll monitor and replace with a few more items in spring.
