Any old fool can shoot 1/1000 at f12. It takes an artist to hand hold 1/40 at f4.5. ;)

Is this photo just before he jumped and attacked you? One of those "Seconds before disaster." shots??

I'm the technical specialist for electronic content management systems at the #1 ranked hospital in the US which means imaging systems. Document, photographs, medical and even faxes. Primarily the systems from the capture side (device to scanning) all the way to storage and retrieval. As level 3 I'm involved with all aspects when 1 & 2 can't resolve the issue. I spend enough time with images during the day so go back and forth over working with photography. Failed arts and farts in the park so thank goodness my image manipulation is limited to fidelity and clarity it is generally frowned on if you alter medical images from the original source.
You mention faxes. What's a fax?
Hummmm...
Wait a minute, wait a minute....
I think I remember something about facsimiles back in the last century?? Buzzing, beeping and other annoying sounds.

G1 class geo-magnetic storm is under way

All of this is awesome guys and I treasure it, but lets throw some GX pictures in to keep it legal. 🥳

Any time you get a prescription refilled the request is faxed to the drug store. Every drug store in the Country has a fax machine or system. When you request your medial records have a choice either mailed or sent by fax. If you are laying in a bed in the ED\ER then probably want them faxed. Most ambulances and trauma helicopters have fax machines on board.

It is still the most secure method of transferring patient data and due to HIPAA regulations faxing is the only standard of secure data transfer. The Portability part of HIPAA got lost in the government red tape. But let the Accountability (security) part miss by just a little bit and all hell breaks loose.

Fingers crossed! Couple of hours ago the one tonight was dropped to 18% chance of viewing with a kp of only 5 :(

My goal is to avoid any damage to the GX this trip and so far have been successful. But still have a week and a half to go...

Fancy. I'll take it! Best of luck!

Very familiar with HIPAA with me being in the med device industry. Don't want to mess with patient info being unsecure. Although I wasn't aware that's how most communication was transferred. I've never noticed/heard it at our local PX or doctors office.
Good info.

Regarding the Taco at warp: the worlds fastest Tacoma going BACKWARDS!!
Should have taken the photo from behind! Albeit, a great effect without software!

Well that didn't take long although it is day 8 now. Seen a side trail this morning and like a moth drawn to a flame couldn't help myself. Couldn't see down it or even open the doors once on it but they have turned into some of my best isolated hunting spots.

Going with those creases aren't going to buff out. But did shoot a bird. And missed another, hey it happens... Dog is happy.

You can at least replace the filler cover for not too much and that'll make it look much better since the rear quarter doesn't have any chipped paint, just a crease.

One thing I've taken to doing is bringing my M18 cordless sawzall and a pruning blade with me on local wheeling trip. I can fell 4-5 small hardwood trees (4-6" trunks) on a single battery, and stop and clean up really narrow stuff that will otherwise destroy my rig. The sawzall is pretty easy to fit in the rig. I also recently bought a M18 hackzall, which is even easier to pack and easier to handle for pruning, and also did just fine for cutting up an evening's worth of soft firewood in CO. But, for actually dropping a tree, or cutting our local hardwoods, I'd prefer the sawzall.

We have some other local trails that will require dozens of sawzall batteries to make passible, for those I'm just gonna hit them up with a buddy and both of us will bring our Stihl chainsaws and spend a few hours really opening them up.

GX got you safe in and out with a bruise. I'd feel worse like others have said if it happened in a parking lot. The memory of another successful hunt and a happy Dog would outweigh it in my mind. Congrats on the bird!

It's custom!

I am due for some trail rash, so far I just have pin stripes

Did it take out your tail light lens too? That corner looks different.
