Gx460 anatomy question (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I'm now a proud owner of a 2016 GX460, I was looking around under the vehicle and noticed two devices I didn't recognize. Looking for help identifying them. One is in front of the engine under the serpentine belt, the other is on the passenger side of the engine in the back. See attachments.

First one is transmission oil cooler, second one is the engine oil filter housing.

Bump on this.... I have a 2018 GX460 Luxury with a factory hitch. Going to be doing a lot of towing in the future.... Also how are you guys monitoring your temps? Scanguage II - , Torque Pro BT, there are PIDs available pull TFT.

If you need more help or curious about other components, there's also the GX 460 Manuals sticky post for reference.
Although sometimes it's just not as clear as someone helping to explain it in simpler terms.
More than once I've been stuck by manual authors who don't consider the lay person who has to figure out what they're trying to explain.
