K2 or Superlift would be easier for us East-Coasters. I really want to do some K2 or Moab type wheeling though. Seems everyone is doing it these days!

Yeah, Superlift is "East Coast" style and from what I saw in Moab the GX and similar platform does really well on the rock out west with minimal risk of carnage. You can "do more" out there. Hence my K2 and Moab suggestions.

K2 & Superlift are the same 13ish hour drive for me, so either I guess. Moab would be great but so would Central CO or Ouray (that's been done a bit though). If it were Central CO I'd be willing to help run the event.
That's the exact reason why I would pick K2. We can wheel a place like Superlift any time. For a stock-ish 120, I think a more open park, less chance for damage, no trees to smack into, etc, etc, etc. If I want to go wheeling in the woods, I'll take the mini truck.

Shane, a lot of the folks here would have to drive 20-26 hours to do Colorado or Moab. K2 may be a good compromise. Will have to see since we have a year

Google says Katemcy is ~16 hrs ~1080 miles. Moab is ~27 hrs ~1840 miles. From my location.

Katemcy has plenty of traction and no regs about going off trail. As long as you're inside the property fence, you can drive over whatever you see in front of you.
