Howdy all. Seems like we have a nice sized group of NOCO/SOWY folks. I live in Loveland, CO. I recently purchased a 1987 FJ60. I have a couple seasons of wheeling under my belt, but now my newest nemesis is Repairs. I am excited about getting my hands dirty, bu a lot of the future projects seem a bit daunting. I have my FSMs and am starting to acquire my tools. I hope that some of you local guys might be able to join together and walk me through some of the more difficult times. I want to be the one getting dirty, just need a set of trained eyes. For your time and efforts I will offer beer and food. I am a Chef here in NOCO, so what I lack in wrenching skills I more than make up for in culinary expertise. Hope to see some of you soon... IE the next meeting.

Looking forward to meeting you at the next meeting.

I am wondering what repairs your 60 needs?

welcome !!!

Just started the axle rebuild. I had to replace the calipers and rotors, so I decided I would take the opportunity to rebuild the axles, as the driver side hub was definitely contaminated with diff fluid. Its going along pretty well, I dont have a ton of experience with a wrench, but Mud and my FSMs seem to be doing the trick. In the near future... front and rear seals, belts, hoses, carb rebuild( I will be sending this one out) more than likely new fuel, and water pumps, and then some mods.... first being the OME 4" Hvy/Hvy...

I just had to get rid of my 08 Trail Teams FJ, but the 60 is getting me through the hard times. Man I love LC'sI am hoping to be at the next meeting in August.

No the 08 Spec Edition FJ Cruiser.

I suppose I'll poke my head in & say hi.

I'm Mark, currently live over in Evans (south of Greeley). I purchased a 93 FZJ80 out of Oregon back in May. It's all stock for now, but it may get a few small mods over time. I'm no stranger to fabbing, wrenching, or four-wheeling but I'd prefer to keep this one a little more stock & driver-friendly.

Looking forward to getting out & doing some exploring/light wheeling with folks from the area.

New guy

Just picked up a '76 FJ40 it needs a few things mostly rust
repair. May need a few pointers as I go through it.
I live about a block away from a Pederson tech
with a green FJ40 not sure who that is. I've wheeled
around here for years just never had a FJ.

Welcome Dave! Was that Green FJ40 a Seafoam Green one? :)

Hi Ken. We generally have at least one trip scheduled monthly on the second Sunday after our meeting.

Hey Everyone ! I have had this hybrid fj55 since 1983. A 73 title w/a 75 drive train and ? We moved into it after it was decided that doing Mosquito Pass in a Chevy PU w/a 3 speed on the colum wasn't the best of an idea. Then moving on to a Datsun F-10 going from Gunnison to Aspen - well? It didn't make the river crossing - or back up to the pass either. Our mountain motorhome has been resting for the last 13 years. Retired @ 55 2 years ago, I need somthing to torture me. So - first upgrade was a fresh tank of gas. Now onto ( into) the carb. At least I can drive it a little using the winch tied to a tree. Hopefully, the gas pedal will soon begin to work. Looking forward to meetinig some of you at the next meeting. Thanks ///// allyn pannaman
