Found him, great guy to talk to. Will try one of these turbos around novemberContact Gbentink on this board. He builds and sells them.
Hi, have this mods been done as yet? If so, what was the outcome? Particularly the lift pump - interested to know any benefit from this.Owner is modifying inlet manifold (boxing it out). I will provide photos to this, all instincts tell me it will lean off the AFR's further by evening the distribution of air between the cylinders.
After this, and the fittment of a Holley red in line fuel pump (as a kind of lift pump), it will be returned and afrs will drop to 17.5:1 for a power tune. On this basis, I would expect over 165kW, probbaly 170kW.
Owner is on holiday for a month or so (using this truck the whole time, so believe it or not folks, this is actually the "safe" tune) then will do the mods mentioned and a retune. Thats an excellent pyro pre turbo when sitting on 200whp!
nah, he's too busy giving me sh!t about my body lift lol. he did get a bad boy though...So mudbludger, it's November.
Have you got a GTurbo yet? Any feedback for the group?
Tim
Hi y'all!
Yesterday we did a 1992/11 auto HDJ81 on 35" A/T tyres. 153kW (205hp) at wheels and below 3500rpm never under 22:1 AFRs!! Boost 25-26psi. These are 77kW (103hp) standard. The AFRs are logged on the dyno so I'll probably post it in a separate thread.....
