I failed to write down the dates for GSMTR. Could someone post them?

Also, will the event hub be the pavilion that we used in the spring?

I need to start forecasting vacation for next year and checking into making reservations.

Thanks

May 11-17, same place, moving Raffle to Friday night and cook out to Thursday night.

Roger, Thanks. Prep'ing driver's packets and setting up the pavilion on Sunday afternoon too?

Does everyone's plans center around camping or using their campers for the week? The cabins at Coal Creek require enough coin that the cost would need to be split with others. If there is interest, it might still early enough that a cabin could be reserved, but I have not confirmed that.

Thanks

All the big cabins are reserved. There may be some bunky cabins left but not sure.

Roger, are you planning to do an overnight expedition ride during GSMTR (or did I totally misunderstand that)? If so, what days are you thinking?

Yes there is a expo run scheduled for Tuesday- Thursday. Todd is In charge of it. The current plan is on Tuesday to take a group of about 12 trucks + trail leaders from camp to Caryville flats and camp then Wednesday go into North Cumberland camp there and come back to camp Thursdsy afternoon.

Ok, thanks for the info Roger.

Do you have any references for self guided day long rides?

We spent most of last year (not knowing the park) driving around on gravel roads looking for something to do. If you could provide a list of day long routes for different levels of trucks I think our customers would have a much better time.

Roger and the guys have definitely been scouting good trails for all levels in the past year. My hat is off to his dedication to the event, and with such a large area to cover, it is awesome to have the tracks "paved" for the rest of us... I'm definitely looking forward to it!

Cheers

The CLC will be there with approx 6-7 rigs. Cabins reserved!

.

Yeah Bodean--- Bring it!!!!!!:grinpimp:

The cabins at the park are reserved. I am looking at other cabin options near the park as an option. I will be up for the whole week; so if your schedule is similar and you would be interested, shot me a PM.

very I would be interested in renting a cabin with you and the number of people if that's an option for the trip just let me know hey andrew

We're planning to run the 3-day expo ride. Assuming it rains, what's the deepest mud hole you expect? We run 33" BFG all-terrains, and we don't mind winching, but we'd prefer not to mud-flood our old-school FJ40. Thanks!
