If you do that, might as well get the big 'ol TRD stickers for the hind quarters too!
LOL I was trying to find those. Is that dumb? I like them but I dunno, just seems... odd.If you do that, might as well get the big 'ol TRD stickers for the hind quarters too!
When we repainted my wife's 2007 Taco, it was either purchasing new TRD stickers from the dealer at $80.00+ PER STICKER, not a pair.LOL I was trying to find those. Is that dumb? I like them but I dunno, just seems... odd.
Since it's a truck and used a lot for surfing, paddle boarding, beach, snow, ski, etc. we didn't want a $10,000+ paint job. It's not dumb. My wife's Highlander will get getting one too![]()
My exhaust turned s***ty too. When we were just in Calico a couple weeks ago, I was in a tight spot as seen in the pic's. I roll back into a rock and AGAIN pushed my tail pipe into a rock and partially squeezed my exhaust pipe, the part the hooks over the rear axle before the resonator. So now the exhaust is partially restricted. Not as bad as a few years ago, but I still need to a) replace the resonator section AGAIN... b) or go to a muffler shop and see if the can just put a down pipe from the muffler and eliminate the resonator all together, which is what I'm thinking of doing since this has happened twice now.*edit*
Oh and I'm going to find a decent performance shop in 2023 to address the s***ty exhaust manifold / header issue. There's too much unrealized performance left on the table with such restrictive exhaust.
My biggest concern is drone, I HATE drone. H A T E it. I'm going to have to sound deaden behind every panel, the floor and the roof. Once all that is done if that eliminates the drone I may do a header back exhaust kit focusing on air flow out but also tuck it up in such a way that it'll hopefully not be in the way while wheeling. My exhaust turned s***ty too. I agree, that's why we bought our GX's, for a quiet ride. If I remember right when I buckled my last resonator, and was without it for a few days, I didn't notice any unusual humming or droning that's why I thinking of just deleting it.My biggest concern is drone, I HATE drone.
