Depends on which filter you're using. For example, a Mobil 1 M1-301A filter (the larger filter that fits) may have been changed (design) slightly in the last year or so ago, so now an M1-301A is 15 flutes and takes a 93mm wrench. I don't have a Toyota filter handy to check it's size or number of flutes.
I've found it helps greatly to use an extension bar that has a locking mechanism (ie: a slider that locks the extension to the socket or in this case the filter wrench) so it won't come loose from the wrench. But also it's a loose fit in the hole so it's like a wobble extension, lets you get at the filter further off-axis but stays together.
Then use a flex head 3/8" long ratchet (14-20") which gives you more leverage but also it gets your hands out of the away from the other components.
For the M1-301A I use an AmPro 93mm with 15 flutes (I have the same filter wrench from other manufacturers, same size, all fit the M1-301A)
Extension is a Craftsman 6", 3/8" drive Quick Release locking extension bar (there are other manufacturers who make the same thing)
Flex head ratchet; lots of choices (check Harbor Freight), go for something at least 14", 20" gives you more leverage, makes it easier/quicker.
Here's a set of Craftsman locking extension bars from Lowes (They're not made in the USA anymore, if you want that look on Fleabay for old stock, or wait for the Tariffs to force them to be made in the USA again

)
First thing to do is decide which filter you're planning to install (Toyota, Mobil 1 or ??) then take it to an auto parts store and test fit a few oil filter cap-type wrenches until you find the one that fits best. IME Advance Auto in the US carries at least half a dozen different sizes on display. I've found that filter wrenches that say they have the same dimensions are not all manufactured exactly the same so better IMHO to test fit the filter wrench to your filter size/brand. Then pick up a set of locking extension bars and long flex-head ratchet and you're good to go.
