Hi all,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself here. I've been following you guys for a little while since Andy posted on FJC BR. I own a 07 FJC slightly modded... Work in progress. Pretty exciting to have a TLCA chapter forming closed to home and looking forward to catching up with everyone on the monthly runs. I joined TLCA but haven't received the documentation in the mail yet. I'm also on the FJC forum, Toyota 4Runner.org and FJ northeasters.
Thanks,
Jody

Jody- welcome to the group it's a good bunch of guys. We as a club did a run at the Anthracite park at the end of last eyar. While not overly impressive at first glance it deserves another try. I'm sure we'll wheel there again this year. I have heard of the Rock run place but thought it was geared more toward dirt bikes and ATV's but I certainly could be wrong. Gary S

Gary,
Rock Run started as ATV place and my In-Laws go there quite a bit. He told me last summer that they started seeing more OHV activity. I looked at their trail map and they are now showing trails for trucks at all levels. There is a pretty crazy YouTube video on their website of a black run.
They are only seasonal though. I plan on heading there in the spring with them to do a little recon!

Welcome Jody. You'll find a really good bunch here.
Funny thing I noticed about Rock Run. I just checked out their website and noticed they're using an FJ40 likeness on the Trail Map page. It's definatly a '40 front clip replete with bib and bezel, fenders, turn signals and hood, and inside the bezel it says 'TOY'. Coincidence? Maybe.

I did watch the video on their website. There is a custom built TOY leading the run. It's funny you mention this because I was down at my brother in laws garage last night working on getting my sliders finished up. He was telling me more about Rock Run and said he sees a lot of Toyotas up there. Now his words, "The Toyotas are so impressive up there (rock run) and the difference is at the end of the day, they drive them home. The others are trailered out and they just pack up and leave."

Welcome Jody! I haven't been to Rock Run yet, but it's only an hour away so I may have to venture up there this spring.
