So I am now in the market for another vehicle. As I am traveling more but hauling company trailers less I want something a little more comfortable and better in the cities than my Ram 2500.

I have looked at a many SUVs but most of them look like I would be taking my kids to soccer practice instead of a 26yr old single guys vehicle.

Is it expected for the asking price of Used TRD Pros to be almost the MSRP of New ones? The few used TRD Pro 4runners I have found have not depreciated any.

I havent researched the 4runner market really any but from what it seems is that the limited production numbers of the TRD Pro 4runner is keeping the value high.

The two I have narrowed it down to is:

2016 4Runner TRD Pro

This one is available in Fayetteville, AR for $41K, having my buddy up there go check it out for me.

TRD Pro all day long. You are gay if you buy that infinity.

Yes. Sticker plus whatever silly ass stuff Gulf States bolts on it.

I love mine and it's worth the premium add ons.

How many miles on the Quicksand?

Lou has a Cement on order in Grenada that may come in soon.

I personally would pay the extra $4000 for current model year and new unless you love quicksand and it's under 10,000 miles

Ive talked to a few dealerships looking for a Super White 2017 and there doesn't seem to be very many available in the US with that paint color. They quoted me 3-4 months for a new build, which I don't want to wait that long for one. I like the Sand color, it fits my industry; it looks "tactical." If I could find a new 2017 White for sale on a lot I would go that route.

Hey that QX70 is a sweet little SUV, especially for wintery mountain roads in CO. Since I drive to Colorado several times a year to ski, snowy road capability is a factor

Don't be gay.

Dude, seriously. That infinity is super gay. It looks like something a 30-something mom would drive; or a guy who likes things forcibly inserted into his body. (Not judging, just making a statement).

$41k is probably enough to get you into a decent 200 Series, btw.

So is there any advantage to a TRD Pro over a TRD offroad Premium besides the black wheels, suspension, and paint colors? From my research that seems like about the only options? My main concern with the TRD Pro is can it handle the weight of added bumpers? for the price difference between the TRD Premium and the Pro I could add a nice ICON setup and still have a few $K left over.

Nope. Just the 2.5" bilsteins and the piggybacks. The rest is cosmetic.

It's dialed in perfect in my opinion but if you add more weight and tire than what I'm running I think the power will suffer greatly.

My truck sits 1" lower all around with roof rack, sliders and M8000 on Pelfrey hidden winch.

My tires are OEM size but slightly heavier.

As is it will go everywhere I Point it. The only way I put a full bumper on is if I hit a few deer. I like the looks of the front without bumpers.

@wngrog what size does it come with? This vehicle probably won't get any taller than 285s AT tires

I will probably be better off then with the TRD Premium. I really like the Cement color of the Pro but I'm tired of keeping dark color vehicles clean and scratch free. I would get white either way. There is a few trail premiums on lots in the region and I don't want to wait 3-4 months for a pro to be built just to take off half the things that make it a pro if/when I want to upgrade it. Get a trail premium, add black pro wheels, add icon or radflo suspension, save a few K and be able to drive it off the lot.

Lou, haven't you ever heard the phrase, "It takes one to know one"?
