So I bought an 84 fj60 a few weeks ago and I am trying to make changes to bring the interior back to original. The original radio is still installed but is not working. Should I get it fixed and add an aux input (for the iphone) or pull it out and put in new? Any recommendation for someone that can fix old stereo in AZ?

If you're trying to keep everything retro, leave the original radio in the dash. Some guys have gotten creative and installed a hidden head unit in various places in the cab. I think a decent stereo is a nice creature comfort to have, especially if it's going to be a daily driver, so I plan inputting a new head unit in my stock 83.

I would go with the dummy stocker in the dash and then do the CCOT center console with the radio bay in that and have everything there.
