OK,

I'm going App crazy the past few days. I downloaded an App called BackCountry Navigator Pro from the Android Market place and spent some time converting the GPS trail/waypoint files that are available on the the SMORR site into .GPX format so that the app would accept them. Now I can use my phone to keep on the trail with some level of confidence without having to have mobile service or trust that the trail i'm on "looks" like the bunny trail I should be on.

If you guys want to download the app in advance to heading down, I will bring my laptop so that we can get the .GPX files onto your android phone and get it all set up. Takes just a few min of time!

let me guess kelly drained and "cleaned" the washer bottles and put in home brew? So when was the last time you wheeled one of your own rigs?

Ouch do you count me wheeling my old truck?

I'm feeling wofully unprepared. I don't even have a smart phone, can I still wheel? Plus, not only do I not have the truck loaded, I still need to put turn signals and brake lights on, plus window trim. Looks like if I'm low on windshield washer fluid I'll have someone to turn to..... course, that's assuming I get the cowl and windshield wipers on tonight! There isn't even a snow balls chance in heck I'll have one of my CB's (other than the hand held) functioning for the weekend.

I grabbed a portable cb from the parents rv
