Any update on shipping?
My apologies- missed the notification for this!

Here's where we are at. Richlite covers are done, except a few late comers. Line-X covers are waiting for Line-X, as well as many of my systems! They are swamped. I know they won't take them this week but I'm hoping next week. Either way, the shipping boxes have not arrived yet. I will reach out to the company to see where they are, as they should be here by now. I'm trying to knock out the padded covers in the down time, of which there is little. Either way, we should be shipping soon.

Interested in an R50 if you have any left (started at the end of the thread). Also left a message via your website. Let me know and I'll send the dough. Thanks.

Any news on the Line-X versions?
I'm hoping to nail down a day with Line X for the tailgate covers when I see them Monday. They're swamped. I'm having a hard time even getting drawer systems in there right now. Boxes are here and I have to finish up the padded covers. I'll try to send out the shipping charges soon, so when they are coated they can be in the mail asap.

Any updates for the Line-X crowd?

My sincere apologies guys. The Line-x ones are in the queue, and they are backed up. I still have some drawer systems in line ahead of the covers. I'm hoping next week but not certain. We are also slammed with the current run of 5th gen systems and 80 series. In rush mode since suppliers were way late which jammed us up over here. Richlite covers will be enroute next week. I know I owe you all a shipping quote, I've really just been slammed. Like 16-18 hrs/day kind of slammed.

Hey guys. I haven't had time to answer all pm's, so hopefully an update here will suffice. All Richlite covers have shipped minus a couple of late comers (not in this thread anyways). I bumped some of my systems out of their LINE-X slot so they could shoot the tailgate covers this thursday. The systems are waiting for other parts from powder coat, so it's not the end of the world. I am out of town from Wed-Mon, so as long as they are done they will be boxed and shipped tuesday-ish.

My apologies for the backlog. As much as I'd like LINE-X to cater to just us, they said something about running a business, other customers, pickup beds, yada-yadda. I have their schedule booked for the near future- as many days as they'd give!

cool thanks for the update!

Hey got any instructions on removal and install? Or pics?
Thanks!

Installed mine this weekend in about 10 minutes, probably less. Here's how things went.

Step 1: Pry up the original stained and nasty tailgate cover. All the tools required for removal are pictured; Bottle opener, cup filled with your favorite beverage, and a screwdriver (screwdriver optional).

Step 2: Drop the rubber pieces with the threads into the 16 holes and stack 2 washers on top of each. Most people might wipe the dust off the tailgate.

Step 3: Place the new cover into place and thread in the 16 bolts

Step 4: Admire your work/finish your beverage

Looks great! Yes, that will work on the install, but if you attach the well nuts, screws, and washers to the tailgate cover first (only just snug) you will avoid the occasional issue of the well nut spinning and not gripping the screw, which requires taking the whole thing off again.

The first batch of covers shipped w/o instructions as they were not done yet. Those folks received a pm with a link to them. The rest have them included, and I also added a link on my website here:

I also took the liberty of coating all of the Richlite covers with a coat of a homemade beeswax/mineral oil paste I use for my systems. Makes them look mo-betta, and protects the Richlite. The occasional application of any similar butcher block oil will keep them looking good.

Any update on shipping these? Still haven't heard anything on mine.

Got mine today and installed 10 of the 16 screws.

Excellent fit and finish @TrekboxX! Can't emphasize enough the excellent workmanship on the Richlite and padded cover.

So, just to complete the install, what is the ideal size allen wrench for the 6 screws for the padded cover fasteners?

For some reason, my bike Park Tool lacked this one size. (Yea, who knew?)
