Hardly used this GPS, I had to change brands to get racing software. It is great for highway driving, off-road trails, point to point navigation, overlanding, using ready made tracks and waypoints, or constructing your own trail. It tracks your current trail very well. I only used it a few times and the condition is excellent and like new.
Unit consists of GPS, Magnetic Power Module, Cord, and Manual. This unit can be coordinated with Garmin Explorer online software if you wish. It has outstanding features not found in other GPS units and tracks and GPS points can be imported and exported from it. It is under warranty, and when I took it out recently, and had not charged it for a very very long time, I noticed that the power module was not charging the GPS so the warranty company inspected it and provided a new power module. It is currently under warranty.
The magnetic mount allows you to easily remove it to put in your hands or take it out of the car without dealing with the power cord, yet does not come off by itself when you hit off-road bumps.
It is an excellent street navigator as well as a superb off-road trail navigator. Lifetime maps can be provided by Garmin.
