O.K. Last minute Stoyers are in, but we have questions????? We have an old Garmin Gps Street Pilot C330(I know its as old as dirt) I can't find any lat/lon readings anywhere. Also have Nav on my Spankin new Razor Max but worried about reception and same ??? how do you read Lon /Lat??? Do we need to swing by REI on the way up??? Also note Franklin N.C. is having a large FolkFestival Sat. The FireDept is 100years old!!!

We will be tubing in the hooch or we would do this...have a great time!
Really? This weekend is the Shoot the Hooch Hash with the drunken running club I am in. I am not doing that so I might do this!

(I had planned on working on the damn Gazoo!)

Geebuz....three hours from the house in a real car - 4 in the Mule. We were supposed to go to Hartwell too and bagged it. Maybe I should put my big girl panties on.

Anyone with a smartphone can get GPS essentials app. I used this app on my phone to build the corse. I had good signal through out the process on Verizon network.

Okay here is my next problem I solved the first! I get off at the firehouse 7 am in north west cobb county, I gotta pick up the wife in marietta.There's no way I can make it to the Clayton chick fa lay by 9 am. Can you email me the booklet @7am Sat??? You guys will have an advantage since it will take me longer to get up there ,which will cut into my 3 hours of fishing time. I think I can still beat you.:p

I agree with Ted. If we only have two trucks its not worth the drive to Clayton. We should reschedule. But if we can bump the start time to 10:00 and pick up a couple more contestants then do it.

We will start at 10. I plan on staggering starts for the teams. We will have a driver meeting at ten then start.

:bounce::bounce2::bounce:Thanks!!!:bounce:::bounce2:bounce:

my driver bailed--has to work in the morning and not available until around noon so he's out for sure, me... working on alternative

Chris--did you say you were doing this or going down the hooch?

I'm interviewing Navagators ---:princess: isn't that good at giving directions under pressure!:whoops: sorry honey

As much I would like to keep this event a live. It keeps falling apart. So it will move to next month. Have fun see you in August.

Man, this sounds like a lot of fun! I'm going to make this one next year for sure!

Thanks for the text Ted. Instead of anything else, I put new springs on Diesel Dogs BJ73 that I have in transit so it will be ready to go in August if this happens. It will be perfect (sans AC) for this run. I hope this goes next month and we are free to get to it. I love this kind of s***.

We have to deliver it back to DD in October so this venture needs to happen before then. Maybe a few STLCA guys will come. Knoxville isn't far in an 80!
