Kurt,
4 successive posts within 30 minutes is a new record for you. Do us all a favor and MODIFY your posts if you have something else to add before others have replied to your original post.

Can you elaborate on how to "MODIFY" ??
I sure would hate for you to use the GDB prematurely for successive posts. :D

Edurado,

If you post a message you'll notice 3 icons in the upper right corner of the message box on *your* posts. You can "Delete" or "Modify" one of your own posts. Those 2 icons are not there on posts made by others. If you modify a post there is a message with the date and time it was edited put at the bottom of the updated message.

Eduardo,

In the upper RH corner of YOUR posts you will see a tab that says "modify", click on that and change what you want and hit "save".

Once you have modified a post the message at the bottom of this one shows up.

Dan.

Opps me and the wolf pounced on that one ::)

Should I delete mine?

Unless you are all all powerful moderator in a cool new hat and nothing else. Then you can modify anyone's post. :D

Gumbo,

I think it only fair the a moderator sporting ONLY an ih8mud hat can do whatever the heck he pleases..............My only request would be that there would be NO photos....

Gumby,
What happens when you click "Report to Moderator" on one of the moderator's posts?
;)

Folks, How about hijacking someone else's thread? ::)

I dunno? ???
I don't know that I've had a post that was reported. I don't know what happens.

I think it would be like that scene in Invasion of the Body Snatchers when the guy goes to report what's going on to the police and they give him a strange look and smile and promise to get right on it.

When you hit the "Report to Moderator" it sends an e-mail to me and wakes me up. LOL

Don't know if the Gumby and the other mods get copied, but Eduardo96FZJ80 was nice enough to find out for everyone and pointed out the serious thread hyjacking going on in this thread. :shaking my head: Too Funay!! ::)

My motor must be pretty clean the. :D At CM2003 when the seal went ont he powersteering pump, it pumped all the ATF into the motor. Not knowing this, I added another quart to the power steering system, and that ended up in the motor as well. :(

Ended up having to drain a whole bunch of oil/ATF from the motor.

A kleen motor is a happy motor, and now you have a very happy motor 8)

Still working on it. A 2 year old and a 3 week old baby make for limited wrenching time :(. I will probably pull the head this evening.

Parts pile.

Did you have any problem getting the nuts off the front pipe to manifold? I only got one off and I started to brake extensions. I have impact extensions now but don't want brake the studs.
kurt

Nope, but I don't live in the rust belt. I used to make fun of WD40 as a penetrant, but it worked very well in this case. Every fastener that I missed with the spray came out with nut and stud. Just using standard, 1/2" drive tools. It helps having 6 pt sockets and wrenches. The only thing I've broken so far is I pulled a wire out of one of the connectors on the head.
