FZJ80 Idle Air Control Valve IAC 22270-66010 on EBAY fake or OEM? (1 Viewer)

FYI I just bought this IACV from amazon fully expecting it to be a knock-off since it was only $37. However, when I got it I was surprised to see it was a true Aisan part, with the same "Made in Japan" sticker on it that my original has.

I bench tested it and it passed the Ohm test and function test... soo yea sometimes miracles do happen.

SmokingRocks: Could you post up a photo of the mating surface?

Below is an original AISAN IAC valve (off while cleaning the TB) you can see that the mating surface is machined flat ie: shiny metal with faint tool marks.

but there are very small concentric tool marks on the mating surface, look
to either side of the flash reflection.
