I have a 1993 80 series. Looking to replace the weatherstripping on all four doors and tailgate. The piece that is clipped to the doors and seals against the body. Looking at the weatherstrip I can see plastic clips used to attach the strip to the door. Are the clips part of the weatherstrip or do I need to order them separately???

Thanks

Pete

Do you have a source for the weatherstripping ???
I've not been able to find one. I think my drivers side is leaking. I can see drips down the side of the dash where it abuts the door and the windshield appears not to be the culprit.

Can you buy just the clips

When we had the new interior done on "OSO" last year I got it back and did all new seals/weatherstripping on all the doors. I ordered them from Beno and I was a bit Leary at first since my weatherstrip experience on Ford and GM vehicles in the past meant a lost of messy adhesive.
I was pleasantly surprised that with a small trim tool to pop the retaining pins the old ones came off clean and with the pins already installed on the new seals they popped right on no fussing with a mess. A well designed system by Mr. T.

On locating the seals, I did actually try a specialty automotive trim and paint shop I use here a lot but frankly, with the perfect fit and no fussing around going to your local dealer or through Beno is well worth the final result.

I replaced both front door door/body seals and it helped quite a bit with the wind noise. But, as a quick adjustment as mentioned by Doug long, long time ago, try this: roll window down, open a door enough to stick a shoe near the middle of the door, then push on top of the window frame toward the body. This will often times bend the window frame inward just enough to make a tight seal once again. *** roll window down before doing this ***
